Coconut oil (Cocos nucifera) is obtained by extracting the pulp (or copra) of the coconut. It is produced in tropical regions, and mainly in India,

The properties of coconut oil are multiple: it is antimicrobial, emollient, antioxidant, hydrating and protective.
