Chamomile is a plant native to southern and eastern Europe, belonging to the Asteraceae family.

Witch hazel (Hamamelis Virginiana) is a plant whose effectiveness has long been recognized by Native Americans for its exceptional healing properties.

Its soothing properties are highly appreciated in the treatment of sunburn. The chemical composition of Witch Hazel is rich in soluble tannins and flavonoids, giving it notable antioxidant and purifying abilities.

This plant, in fact, manages to absorb excess sebum, delicately rebalancing the skin.

These characteristics make witch hazel-based treatments highly suitable for the treatment of acne and for the prevention of damage caused by free radicals. Furthermore, it has proven effective in counteracting the presence of rosacea and reducing skin blemishes.

Moringa oleifera, belonging to the Moringaceae family and widespread mainly in Africa and India, offers effective support in counteracting the harmful effects of environmental pollutants, known as the main inducing agents of oxidative stress. Its protective action on the skin is manifested through the prevention of the aggression of free radicals and the consequent damage to DNA.

Moringa oleifera seed extracts are rich in tocopherol, known for its antioxidant properties, and oleic acid, which acts as both an antioxidant and a hydrator. They also contain stearic, palmitic, peanut and behenic acids, which have an emollient effect on the skin. The antibacterial, antifungal, hydrating and nourishing properties of the seeds are attributed to the presence of aromatic isothiocyanates and glucosinolates, which prove particularly effective in inhibiting bacteria associated with acne.
